Congratulations to Lydian Li and Luka Mandic, who were selected as the Athletic Boosters’ Athletes of the Winter Season for their stellar achievements!
Junior Captain Lydian Li helped lead the Varsity to a fantastic season (21-6) and and to a first place finish in the DeAnza Division (11-1). Not only did she lead the Lady Vikes in scoring 433 (ave 16 pts/game), rebounds 155(5.7/game) and steals 87 (3.2/game) and second in assists 51 (1.9/game), she also reached and surpassed 1000 career points in January. Lydian was voted as the DeAnza Division MVP and also selected by 49ers CalHi Sports as the CCS Winter Scholar Athlete.
Luka Mandic is a 4 year varsity starter, a 2 time captain of the team and a 2 time Defensive Player of the Year for the League. Luka will be continuing his soccer career at Cal Poly SLO next year.
